About PTUM

Pesta Tanglung University Malaya (PTUM) is a large-scale Lantern Festival organised by the
Student Representatives Council of University Malaya (MPMUM).This annual event is organised
solely by students to disseminate and celebrate Chinese heritage and culture.

OBJECTIVES

To display the various aspects of the 5000 year-old Chinese heritage

To serve as an avenue for personal development for
the undergraduates participants of this project
who will be working and organizing this prestigious event.

To foster a racial integration among undergraduates through
understanding diversity of a culture while participating in this event.

To raise fund for charity.
